A marathon is always a story. Just like a book, it flows from frustration, anxiety, relief, happiness, suffering and a great elation of the finish line. Once I said that all stories from Berlin seems to be extraordinary. My Berlin marathon story is no exception.

It is impossible for me to forget the emotions I felt when I received an email confirming my participation in the BMW 2018 Berlin Marathon. I submitted my application without a strong determination backing such decision - it was a spur of the moment. Receiving a confirmation made me happy - but it also terrified me. It meant that in less than a year I would have to endure a marathon for the first time in my life.

Кожен марафон - своя окрема історія. Як у книжці, історія прогресує від незадоволення та нервів до певного спокою, щастя, страждань та великого щастя на фініші. Колись я сказав що всі історії з Берліну є надзвичайними. Історія мого Берлінського марафону є саме такою.

Неможливо забути мої емоції коли я отримав лист-підтвердження про реєстрацію на Берлінський марафон 2018 року. Подавав участь просто так - я не ставився серйозно до наслідків цього рішення. Тому коли отримав підтвердження я зрадів - але і дуже настрашився. Адже цей лист означав що менше ніж через рік мені доведеться витримати марафон вперше в житті.
